Mrs. McEver
Amanda McEver is a Fourth Grade Math and Science teacher. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia and earned certifications in both Early Childhood Education and Middle Grades Math. She previously worked at Huntington Learning Center as the Director of Education before moving to Odyssey in the 2014-2015 school year as a Parapro in the 4/5 math classroom. Mrs. McEver watches Braves Baseball in the summer and attends a few games, then cheers for Alabama football in the fall! She also plays trivia with her family at local restaurants, and loves to do Zumba to stay in shape. Mrs. McEver was married July 9, 2016. She is looking forward to this new journey in her life and any exciting changes this may bring! |
Mrs. Alves
Susan Alves received her degree in Early Childhood Education at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. After graduating she took several graduate courses focusing on elementary education and middle school Language Arts. She holds teaching certificates in Pre-K, Elementary, and Middle School. Mrs. Alves has been a paraprofessional for eleven years. She has worked extensively in special education as well as general education. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and taking walks with her husband and dog, Snickers. Mrs. Alves has boy/girl twins who are currently attending college out of state. |
